Initial In-Home Developmental Assessment & Consultation

$250 (2-3 hours In-Home)

If you have been looking for a professional perspective on how to further support your child’s development at home, this service may be suited for you. Perhaps you’d like to have some suggestions on planning your child’s daily schedule and activities in a manner that engages them better, or how to spruce up the play materials and environment provided to them at home, or how to further support their mastery of developmental skills that they have been practicing.

This initial session provides an opportunity for me to get to know your child and understand their current development, strengths and areas where you may be seeking support. I will be at your home to observe your child in their usual routines, their play environment and to interact with them. This allows me to come up with recommendations that are suited to your individual child’s interests, temperament and development.

Depending on your child's age and needs, we may look at areas such as:

• Gross and fine motor development

• Communication and language

• Cognitive development and problem-solving

• Social and emotional development

• Play and learning

• Self-help and emerging independence

• Sensory and environmental factors that may affect participation

I will share my observations with you during the session and discuss practical ways you can support your child's development through everyday routines, interactions and play, or if making any adjustments to their current activities or play environment may be helpful.

After the session, I will provide you a written summary of my observations and recommendations.

Please note that this is NOT a diagnostic assessment and does not replace formal developmental screening or professional assessment where these are indicated. If I identify concerns outside my professional scope, I will recommend that you seek appropriate support from a paediatrician, allied health professional or other relevant specialist.

This service is intended to further support your child's natural development at home, and not to diagnose developmental differences.

Follow-Up Developmental Support Sessions

$200 per session (2–3 hours In-Home)

Follow-up sessions are available on a standalone basis and can be booked according to your child's needs.

These sessions provide an opportunity to continue working together on areas identified during the initial assessment. We can work through the recommendations together, observe how your child responds to any changes, and make further adjustments where helpful.

Because every child and family is different, there is no fixed number of follow-up sessions required. You can book additional sessions whenever you feel further guidance would be helpful.
